The Commission is to reform the Tenancy Law in order to ascertain-

(a)           its effectiveness in the light of present day realities;

(b)           how the law affects the tenant and how it affects the landlord;

(c)             how promptly defaults are being addressed, if they are addressed at all;

(d)           whether there should be exemption of certain areas from the provisions of the law;

(e)           how to strengthen the legal framework for the enforcement of civil obligations in order to promote an orderly society; and

(i)               identify any other statutory intervention that will strengthen the enforcement of the law generally.
